Planeten Reach �r m�nsklighetens sista f�rsvarslinje mellan det inkr�ktande f�rbundet och deras yttersta m�l. Att f�rst�ra jorden. Om den faller, kommer m�nskligheten att pressas till randen av underg�ng. Gillar inte linj�ra spel, �lskar dem. Men d� m�ste det vara korridorer. Det saknar detta spelet fullst�ndigt. Det �r uppbyggt i cirkelformade sektioner man gradvis r�r sig utmed, fram�t i en rak linje. Har man gjort en sekvens i spelet har man gjort alla, f�r fiende placeringen �r snarlik �verallt. Visserligen bryts det under vissa extremt specifika tillf�llen upp i fordonssekvenser men det k�nns d� ryckigt i speltempot. Allting stannar upp & man b�rjar delta i andra fighter f�rutom den man f�rt p� marken. De f�rra Halo spelen var helt otroliga i att skapa ett unikt speltempo p� de olika niv�erna man gick igenom. Det var aldrig f�r snabbt, aldrig f�r sakta. Visst att alla de f�reg�ende spelen haft niv�er som varit helt speld�dande (ej Halo 2, f�rutom de alltf�r l�nga banorna) . Men h�r i Reach �r de �verallt. Hela spelat k�nns som sektioner, som inte h�ller samman. Trots att hela spelet tydligt �r uppbyggt i en rak linje. Det �r f�r mycket hela tiden, massa skit som saboterar tempot och inlevelsen fullst�ndigt. Det g� aldrig att hitta zonen i det man g�r innan man blir tvingad att g�ra n�got nytt. N�got tr�kigare. F�r det �r det spelet bli n�r man inte ger sakerna tid att gradvis v�xa, n�r man aldrig beh�ver bem�stra det man g�r. N�r man alltid kan v�nda sig till tydliga objektiv f�r att snabbt g� vidare. Utan att bry sig om det man g�r, niv�er man springer igenom. Det blir ledsamt att st�ndigt g�ra detta. Man tappar lusten att spela. En l�ng medelm�ttig soppa blir det av allt, utan n�gon som helst spelgl�dje. F�r det �r inte jag som spelar, jag r�r mig bara mellan olika punkter som n�gon annan tvingar mig till. Tv�ng �r aldrig kul. Inte nog med det s� �r karakt�rerna s� fruktansv�rt d�liga s� det inte ens blir roande, bara sorgligt. Det f�rs�ker inte en sekund vara ostigt, men det �r det enda det lyckas med. Eller det �r v�rre en ostigt, det �r bara uselt. Pappersmall typ A p� alla karakt�rer i hela spelet, med massor utav h�l i sig. Dialogen �r s� usel s� det inte ens �r v�rt att ha p� ljudet. Inte ens musiken �r bra. Den �r stundtals horribel d� det �r allt f�r pampig med tanke p� hur lite man egentligen b�de utf�r & �stadkommer. Det sm�tt hyllade slutet har jag heller inte mycket �ver till... En liten summering p� detta i textform: Dold text: The Pelican carrying the remaining members of Noble Team is critically damaged and Carter-A259 is badly wounded. Carter orders SPARTAN-B312 and Emile-A239 to complete the courier mission without him, while he lures the Covenant away from the pair by using the Pelican as a decoy. Emile-A239 and SPARTAN-B312 execute a low-altitude jump from the Pelican outside of the dockyard and are forced to fight their way to the facility. After battling through several Covenant outposts, the two SPARTAN-IIIs are forced to continue their journey through a cave system to circumvent a large group of Covenant forces. Upon reaching the other side, however, they are confronted by a Scarab. Realizing that the Scarab\'s presence prevents Emile and Noble Six from moving on, Carter rams it with the Pelican, knocking it off a cliff and sacrificing himself in the process. The two SPARTAN-IIIs continue their journey and eventually reach the Aszod shipbreaking facility. The two SPARTAN-IIIs are then hailed by Captain Jacob Keyes, whose cruiser, the Pillar of Autumn, is moored at the facility, and are ordered to clear a landing zone for the Captain, who will use a Pelican to retrieve the Package himself. Emile mans the facility\'s Mass Driver to provide covering fire against incoming Covenant Phantoms and Banshees, while Noble Six and surviving troopers engage the Covenant on the ground. Once cleared, Keye\'s Pelican arrives and Captain Keyes retrieves the Package from Noble Six. As the package is handed over, a CCS-class Battlecruiser is revealed to be moving in on the Pillar of Autumn. Keyes orders Emile to fire on the advancing Battlecruiser, however, before Emile can oblige a Phantom attacks the landing zone, destroying one Pelican and deploying a group of Sangheili warriors onto the Mass Driver. Emile successfully kills one of the Sangheili with his shotgun before a second sneaks up behind him and impales him with an energy sword. Still alive, Emile draws out his kukri and stabs the Sangheili in the neck. Keyes returns to the landing platform and offers Noble Six transportation to safety. The SPARTAN-III refuses in order to defend the Captain as he heads towards his ship. Using the Mass Driver, Six defends the site and stalls the Covenant Cruiser just as it is about to glass the area. After successfully halting the cruiser\'s attack, Noble Six looks on as the Pillar of Autumn takes off and heads towards space to escape Reach, with the package safely secured.
